Majority of locomotor disabled require mobility aids to overcome their physical problems. On account of their disabilities, Umang has been able to distribute Hand-driven triwheeler, wheel chair, orthotic & prosthetic aids and also low cost hearing aids to Hearing impaired people. All mobility aids are supplied by the welding & fabrication unit attached to Vocational Training Centre of Umang, at the recommendation of orthopedic surgeon. Umang besides providing mobility aids to the students attending the training center, but also reaches out to the disabled living in rural areas. Since the distribution is done free of cost to the needy and socio economically poor people, financial supports come from individual donors, companies, service clubs and trusts.
