Since its inception, the Umang Charitable Trust has been working in the field of education. Our education scholarship program was commenced understanding the need to support children and families in Mumbai. Through this project we strive to break the barriers towards acquisition of education for the deprived & underprivileged section.
Umang Education Scheme
Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life; because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one’s awareness on a range of issues from healthcare to appropriate social behavior to understanding one’s rights and in the process evolve as a better citizen.
Umang's educational initiatives include
Pre-school [2-6 yrs], Computer Classes [6-12 yrs non-school going], Remedial Education [6-14 yrs school going], Bridge Course [14-18 yrs drop-outs] and Higer education [FYJC].
It works for education for underprivileged children who are under difficult circumstances, such as child labour, children of poorest of the parents, children inflicted and affected with HIV/AIDS, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster struck children and slum children, most student want to continue thier study after graduation but due to financial issue they can’t afford it, but we are supporting to them complete thier highr eduction Special emphasis is given on girl education and women education, so that they and their families get empowered.

Pre-school [2-6 yrs]
We offering early childhood education to poor and slum areas familly's chilldren at preschool, also known as nursery school. We sponsored school fee, uniform and study materials.
Bridge Course [14-18 yrs drop-outs]
A bridging course is a university-preparation course with an academic curriculum that is offered to mature students as a means of preparing for the intellectual challenges of a university education, successful completion of which is recognized as a basis of admission to the University.
Computer Classes [6-12 yrs school going]
Umang provide advance education for skill development to Chilldren for thier bright future. we are working this intiative with our academy and extra classes partner.
Higer education
Umang help with highr education for those students who are very poor are unable to attend public institutions, pending they are accepted. Students attending public universities and colleges in India pay tuition fees of approximately $50 per year
Remedial Education [6-14 yrs school going]
Remedial classes are courses that may be required for students to build up their skills in math, reading, or English before they are allowed to take regular college courses.
Preparation Entrance Exam
Test preparation (abbreviated test prep) or exam preparation is an educational course, tutoring service, educational material, or a learning tool designed to increase students' performance on standardized tests.
